At a time when the ‘Women In Blue’ are being showered with laurels from all over the country, Captain Mithali Raj is ironically facing brickbats on social media sites for posting a picture with her girl gang. Mithali Raj Trolled made headlines and hashtag when she decided to slam the trolls.

Raj tweeted:

Soon, a man tried to offend Raj by posting an offensive comment on the photo. He used the term “odd” to imply a sweat patch on Mithali’s dress. He referred to it as something that should not be seen in public.

However, Raj is not someone one who would take any kind of trolling lightly. The women’s cricket captain — with her ever-charming attitude — royally snubbed the man who was trying to body shame her. Raj called out the man’s indecent behaviour, and trust me the guy had it coming!

Killing him softly with this perfect answer, Raj ensured that the man didn’t dare to argue back. The battle ended with Raj’s reply earning over 4,600 ‘likes’ and more than 600 retweets so far – and counting.

The Twitterati, of course, went crazy over Raj’s epic reply. They lauded Raj for taking the right stand against the troll and shutting him up for his uncalled for behaviour.

Without a doubt, Mithali Raj is the most successful captain of the women’s cricket team. The 34-year-old player has proven her mettle each time India has gone to play a match. She has been the backbone of Indian women’s cricket, leading the team to two World Cup finals. The 2017 Women’s World Cup in England was India’s best performance ever under Raj’s strategically balanced captaincy. India may have reached the final and lost it to England, but Raj and her teammates certainly put up a great show!
